Mental Health and Wellbeing

Mental Health and Wellbeing at Grove Street

At Grove Street Primary School, we are committed to supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of all our pupils and staff. Like we all have physical health, we all have mental health and we know that at times everyone experiences life challenges that can make us vulnerable. We believe that positive mental health is everybody's business and that we all have a role to play.

Here are some useful websites:

Wirral Future in Mind

This site is packed with information supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people in Wirral.

MyMind is an NHS website run by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, developed for everyone interested in the mental health and well-being of children and young people across Cheshire and Wirral.

The site has a Parents and Carers section where you can find out about what’s new in CWP CAMHS for parents and carers.

The professional’s section of this site is aimed at anyone working with children and young people who live in the catchment area of Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and who want to know more about their local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).

Wirral CAMHS delivered a workshop for parents called Helping Your Child to Thrive. If you couldn't make the workshop, take a look at the presentation instead- it's packed with information about how we can support our children's mental health.

Helping Your Child To Thrive

The MindEd learning portal provides free online training for staff, it is aimed at anyone from beginner through to specialist.
