Attendance Recognition

At Grove Street we recognise everybody's attendance.

• Every week in our Key Stage celebration assemblies, teachers will choose a child from each class to be celebrated for their brilliant attendance.

• They will get a special shout-out and a huge round of applause from everyone! Every Monday, each class will vote for a fun Attendance Reward activity to enjoy with their teacher. This could be anything from drawing, a Kahoot quiz or games to extra playtime.

• The exciting part is that children won’t know which day their reward will happen, it will be a surprise treat during the week for children who are in school and ready to learn!

In a recent Pupil Voice Survey, we asked children what they enjoyed about coming to school:
