Every Day Matters
At our school, we believe that every day in school matters because every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, build friendships and feel part of our school community.
We also know that days missed are about much more than numbers. Sometimes, children carry worries, anxiety, grief, trauma or other challenges that make coming to school difficult. Behind every absence is a child with their own story.
Our Inclusive Attendance approach reminds us to look beyond attendance figures and focus on the child. Through strong, trusting relationships, our staff work closely with children and families to understand barriers to attendance and provide the right support at the right time.
Rather than asking, "Why isn't this child in school?" we ask, "What is making it difficult for this child to be here, and how can we help?"
By creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels seen, valued and supported, we help children to attend, achieve and thrive.
