Welcome to Year 6!
A very warm welcome to our class page! We are looking forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, new experiences and lots of fun.

PPA: Monday
PE: Thursday 🏃♀️⚽
Please remember to send children to school in their PE kit on Thursdays. PE kit is black leggins/joggers/shorts and a plain t-shirt (ideally black, green or white). No football kits please.
🏠 Learning at Home
There are lots of opportunities for children to continue their learning and practise key skills at home.
Children can access:
📚 Spelling Shed – to practise spelling and develop vocabulary
✖️ Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) – to build confidence and fluency with times tables
🧮 MathsWhizz – for additional maths practise and personalised learning
📚 Reading regularly at home is one of the best ways to support your child’s learning, helping to build confidence, develop vocabulary and improve comprehension while fostering a lifelong love of reading.
Even a little practise regularly can make a big difference!
