Welcome to Year 6!

In Year 6, we believe that team work, collaboration and good communication is essential to all of our wonderful learners' successes. We know that our Year 6 pupils have a fantastic year ahead of them and we aim to ensure they are ready and confident to take the next step to secondary school.

We aim to create even more lasting memories of Grove Street Primary School to take with you through life through trips, residentials, visitors and a happy, safe and stimulating classroom environment.

Alongside our wonderful Year 6 team, we have Miss Caroline McCann who, as part of the therapeutic team, will be working to support our Year 6 children through their final year of primary school.

Every Tuesday, whilst Mr Gleeson, Miss Wilson and Mr Hopwood have their planning time, Miss McCaughey and Miss Dunn will be in Year 6. PE will take place on a Wednesday afternoon so please ensure children arrive at school in their PE kits with suitable footwear (trainers or astroturf, no football boots).
