Partnership with Liverpool Hope University

At Grove Street, we are proud to work in close partnership with Liverpool Hope University in a variety of ways. One of our governors, Katharine O’Neill, is a respected lecturer in the English department, supporting trainee teachers as they develop their skills and expertise.

Throughout the year, we welcome teaching students into our school, offering them valuable classroom experience as they work towards becoming qualified teachers. Our children benefit greatly from this partnership, engaging with the latest teaching approaches, research, and educational initiatives. This exposure also helps broaden their understanding of future careers in education and other fields, inspiring them to explore their own ambitions.

In addition, several members of our teaching staff contribute to Liverpool Hope University by delivering guest lectures and supporting teacher training, helping to shape and inspire the next generation of educators.
