Mental Health and Wellbeing at Grove Street

At Grove Street Primary School,we are exceptionally proud of our whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing. Our universal offer gives every child, the skills and strategies they need  to maintain healthy minds.

Like we all have physical health, we all have mental health and we know that at times, everyone experiences life challenges that can make us vulnerable. Sometimes, children may benefit from targeted support from our amazing ELSAs or the Mental Health Support Team.

We are relentless in our belief that positive mental health is everybody's business and that we all have a role to play.

We are always listening.

Mrs Stanley has completed the Adult MHFA England course. This means she is now a designated Mental Health First Aider for Grove Street.

Mrs Walsh and Mrs Stanley have completed the Youth Mental Health First Aid training. Our ELSA, Mrs Gillies, has also completed the course.
