Online Safety at Grove Street

At Grove Street, we believe that online safety is a responsibility that affects our entire school community. Because of this commitment, we are proud to be a National Online Safety accredited school.

Through this platform, we have access to a wide range of CPD, lesson plans, resources, parent explainer videos, and infographics. This material helps us to embed online safety expertly into our computing curriculum, ensuring that children learn how to navigate the digital world safely as part of their regular lessons. Additionally, we can deliver bespoke lessons whenever specific issues arise within our school or wider community.

We often share infographics and guidance on our whole-school ClassDojo accounts, as well as within individual class accounts, to keep parents informed and involved. Our Community Police Officers also provide support and guidance for online safety concerns.

If any online safety issues arise, parents are encouraged to contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mrs Stanley, or our Deputy Safeguarding Lead, Mrs Kenny, who will provide advice and support.
