Staff Training

All staff have had the opportunity to receive training on a range of different areas of special needs.

The training provided includes:

• Subject leader advice on how to support SEND learners in their subject (information shared from Inclusive Learning North conference)
• Speech and Language - Blanks Level, selective mutism, social communication needs, Hanen Project, stammering
• Autism - Gilbrook School Outreach
• Emotion Regulation - ADHD Foundation
• Working Memory - Orrets Meadow
• Autism awareness - Orrets Meadow and Clare Mount School
• Sensory Processing - Clare Mount School
• Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) - ADHD Foundation 
• Neurodiversity in the classroom, including Early years - ADHD Foundation
