Wellbeing Hubs

The well-being of our children is at the heart of everything we do at Grove Street. Every year group has a well-being hub that can be accessed by the children throughout the day. Whether it be during a lesson and a child needs somewhere quieter and less distracting to work or if they need to take time out from a challenging situation, children are encouraged to utilise this wonderful resource. Self-regulation tools, sensory resources and calming work spaces are available to all children either in the middel bay of their year group or in a quiet area of the classroom.

Along with these wonderful areas, we also have a number of additional well-being hubs throughout school. The Bungalow and The Den provide a higher level of support for a number of children and are led by skilled teaching assistants. These provisions provide opportunties for children to access an alternative curriculum appropriate to their needs along with a strong emphasis on supporting their mental helath and well-being. Advice sought from Educational Psychologists and other professionals has been implemented to ensure the children receive the best support in order for them to achieve to their full potential.
